 New Block of the Month |

Now is your chance to sign up for the new project. “My Secret Garden” from the book “Gathered from the Garden” by Cindy Lammon. We will be making two blocks a month. This pattern will teach piecing and appliqué. You will purchase the book, background and border fabrics of your color choice. Faye will provide two ¼ yard cuts or two fat quarters each month. You will have all month to come in with your finished blocks to receive your free cuts. However, if you do not show up and present the blocks, and wish to continue the BOM, you will be required to purchase the fabric for the month you missed. If you are a long distance quilter and wish to participate in the BOM experience, you may do so by signing up and receiving it by mail. It will be $6.50 per month and includes shipping in the USA only.

Block of the Month continued September is our last month for this quilt. This month you can purchase the fabric to finish off the quilt and Thangles for the large star points, and the borders. We will also hand out the finishing instructions. |

Faye has started a beginner class for the month of October. We will be making a simple runner pattern; our goal is to complete this project in a day. Class includes cutting, sewing quilting and binding. The cost is $60.00, which covers the complete kit. The only item you will need to purchase would be your coordinating thread. Tools will be provided for this first lesson and you will receive 15% off purchase of your tools (mat, ruler and cutter) on the day of the class. We have already tried this and it has been successful. You may bring along a friend who quilts. They may choose to do the project for the fee, or sew on their own at no charge. So have you have heard about the strip club craze? Join us for a night of stripping each month. You will be able to receive a free pattern and a chance to cut your own strips on the Accu Cut System from fabric purchased at Faye’s. You must register each month. Who doesn’t Love dessert. We have declared Monday night “Dessert Club Night”. We will meet and enjoy a delicious dessert along with a sampling of what is new in Jelly Rolls, Layer Cakes, Cup Cakes, and we’ll throw in the charm packs even though they don’t have a sweet name. We are planning to have a few new patterns each month as well as some samples of what to do with those sweet treats. There will be show and tell and also door prizes. On this evening you will receive double punches on your cards for purchases of regular price merchandise. There is no charge for this, but we need you to register so we can plan ahead.
